Code of Conduct

I will abide by this Code of Conduct, the club rules, the Coach / club officials and safety procedures and accept such penalties as the Board deems appropriate if not abided by.

I am an ambassador of the Kelowna Rowing Club and will maintain high standards of moral and ethical conduct, which includes self-control, responsible behaviour, and consideration for the physical and emotional well-being of others.

I will treat others with respect and expect to be treated with respect in return.

​

I will respect an individual's dignity and acknowledge that verbal or physical behaviour that constitutes harassment or abuse are unacceptable.

​

I will uphold the generally accepted standards of fair play and exhibit a high level of sportsmanship and team spirit.

​

I will reimburse the cost of any damage to equipment or any other property resulting from willful or negligent action.

​

I understand the above statements and agree to conduct myself in a manner that demonstrates the standards established above.
